Redworth builds state of the art Huyton Care Home
Redworth Construction, the leading North Yorkshire building company, has built a state-of-the-art £3 million care home for elderly residents at Huyton in Lancashire.
Roby House, which is owned and run by the award-winning company Meridian Healthcare, features a cinema complex, in-house hair studio, relaxation therapy room and en-suite facilities.
"We are very pleased to have built such a high-quality home, which comprises such fabulous surroundings for the residents. I gather that both residents and staff are thrilled with the accommodation, which is so pleasant and spacious, said Howard Rogers, managing director of Malton-based Redworth.
He added: "Redworth are delighted to be having an ongoing relationship with Meridian, and the completion of Roby House is one of many successful projects undertaken together. We are currently in negotiation with Meridian on further developments and look forward to continuing an effective working partnership."
Redworth, in conjunction with Meridian Healthcare, started development on the site in August 2005.

Roby House offers residential care and care for those with dementia-related conditions. The building can accommodate up to 54 residents. As well as larger sized en suite bedrooms, Roby House also offers outstanding lounge, dining and quiet areas as well as a hairdressers, relaxation therapy room and a state of the art cinema room.
