Redworth builds on success at stunning new Malton development
Redworth Construction, one of Yorkshire's leading construction companies, is moving to a new home in Old Malton - on its own brand-new development.
The company, whose turnover is expected to exceed £22 million this year after only five years of trading, is relocating to a unique £5 million office development at Manor Park, Malton.
The two-acre Manor Park, which is situated in a picturesque conservation area of Old Malton, has direct access to the busy A64 Leeds-York-Scarborough trunk road and is less than a mile away from the market town of Malton.
It comprises 27,000 sq ft of prime office development in five buildings, each with their own car parking and cycle bays. The buildings are available on leasehold or virtual freehold. The offices can be divided to suit requirements from 2,000 sq ft upwards.
Joanne Williams, the development manager of Redworth Construction, commented: "We are moving into a 6,000 sq ft state-of-the-art office building at Manor Park, underlining our commitment to the development. Construction is due to begin at the end of this year and should be completed by the end of next year.
"Interest in the new development has been high and one office building of 7,000 sq ft has already been reserved. From our perspective, the expansion of our company during the past two years has meant that new premises are essential. We can't wait to move in," she added.
The company, which is currently based at Leat House in Welham Road, Norton, specialises in construction work for care homes, social housing and children's day nurseries across England and Scotland. Clients include Southern Cross, Disability Action Yorkshire, Yorkshire Housing and Accent North West.
Andrew McBeath of Malton-based MPC Limited has been appointed to handle the marketing of the scheme.
Mr McBeath said: "This is the first development of its kind in Ryedale and not surprisingly it has created a lot of interest from occupiers and investors. The design is stunning and the proximity to both Malton town centre and the A64 is a major selling point".
